I'm using Windows? AND MAKING A FREE PIECE OF SOFTWARE IN IT?

Yes. That title really does say what you think it says.

Recently I bought a Thinkpad Yoga X13 second hand "for parts". It only took around 60 dollars to fix it up to a useable state. Then I said to myself "Man, it would be great to have a laptop running windows to port my projects over to...". At that time my Thinkpad was running Linux Mint. However (Lucky me) The laptop came with a onboard Windows 10 Pro Education License Key.

So I installed Windows 10 and immediately got smacked in the face with a very annoying bug. My mousepad/trackpad was do weird clicking things. As I found out the drivers Windows had selected were wrong and I need to chose PS/2 mouse drivers (that worked for some reason).

Anyways. So now it's time to announce my new project (Windows only ☝) AltStart!!!

ONE of my least favourite part of Windows is the start menu. Every time I open it I get rampaged with ads. Say I want to do a web search with it. It automatically uses edge and bing 🤮. So i'm making my own. I can't give any screenshots or anything like that yet BUT I am going to make a dedicated post about this!

 Hello Everyone! I decided that it would be a good idea to make a new blog using Blogger.

Everything here is brand new and akin to change. I'm currently in the process of making a archive system for the previous blog (built thanks to Zonelets)
